Kol
Cambridge is very lucky to have as its producer, DJ and presenter the
eminent British Jewish rapper Antithesis. Recognised by the BBC as the
country's leading expert on Israeli hip-hop, the 21-year-old is actually
a keen fan of all genres of Israeli and Jewish music.
Antithesis decided to launch Kol Cambridge as he felt there was a niche
in the British radio market for an Israeli music programme. So far he
has been shown to be correct with consistently high listening figures.
Antithesis has produced a CD of Zionist hip hop entitled The Israel
Question. All profits from CD sales go to charity. More information
can be found on his website:
www.antithesistherapper.com.
Outside of music Antithesis is in his third year of reading Oriental
Studies at the University of Cambridge. He has been president of the
Cambridge University Jewish Society and is an elected member of the
national executive of the Federation of Zionist Youth of Great Britain
and Ireland.
Antithesis always likes getting feedback about the show and requests for
songs. You can contact him at
antithesis@kolcambridge.com.
